Congratulations to Areeba and Zi Kai in Year 6 who have won an art and design competition organised by the City Council to promote the importance of recycling.
The children visited the Civic Centre to meet the the Lord Mayor and were delighted to see their wonderful artwork displayed on the side of a refuse lorry. The Lord mayor was so impressed by their artwork that she presented the children with a special certificate and invited them for to tea.
We are incredibly proud that artwork from our school will be showcased all over the city and we are very proud of our competition winners who are both a credit to our school.
