Children are routinely assessed at Holden Lane Primary School by their teachers to ensure that individual needs are met. Progress is tracked throughout a child’s time at Holden Lane Primary and is reported to parents regularly through termly parent consultation meetings and end-of-year school reports.
At the end of years 2 and 6, children are formally assessed through National Curriculum tests or tasks with further standardised tests in the intervening years as necessary to monitor levels of attainment and progress.
