At Holden Lane Primary School children are regularly assessed by their teachers to ensure that individual needs are met. At the end of years 2 and 6 they will also be formally assessed through National Curriculum tests or tasks with further standardised tests in the intervening years as necessary to check levels of attainment.
Each academic year:
- We hold a Progress meeting for parents in both the Autumn Term and Spring Term.
- A full written report is sent home in the Summer Term.
- A parents evening is also held in the second half of the Summer Term.
If parents have any concerns at all about the progress of their child, they are always welcome to make an appointment to see the class teacher to discuss things further in more detail.
