At Holden Lane Primary School, we recognise the impact of art and design as part of a broad and balanced curriculum contributing to the development of pupils’ emotionally, intellectually and socially. Pupils have the opportunity to develop and experiment with a range of techniques to express their individual interests and ideas. As artists, pupils learn to critically evaluate their work and the work of others, taking influence from well-known artists and adapting their work accordingly.
