On Tuesday, the whole school celebrated Safer Internet Day. Each class was involved in activities to promote the safe and responsible use of technology.
Safer Internet Day is celebrated globally to promote making the internet a great and safe place for children and young people. This year’s theme – ‘Inspiring change? Making a difference, managing influence and navigating change online’ explored how everyone can work together to make the internet safe for us all.
Using the internet safely and positively is a key message that we promote in our school.
The children took great interest in celebrating Safer Internet Day as they revisited the online safety messages that we deliver throughout the year. They took part in a wide range of activities to reinforce the key messages of how to stay safe online. Very well done to everyone for taking part and showing such a positive attitude to online safety.
Many thanks also to all the families that joined Miss Yoxall for our ‘Safer Internet Day’ parent workshop.
We were delighted that so many parents and carers came along and we hope that you found the meeting useful and informative.
Thank you for your continued support.
