MASSIVE congratulations and well done to our outstanding and exceptionally talented Year 6 dancers who joined schools from all over the City to perform at the Victoria Hall on Tuesday evening as part of the annual Stoke School Sport Partnership Dance Extravaganza.
They performed a wonderful routine based on an abstract and contemporary interpretation of the first voyage of the Titanic and its link with the city of Stoke on Trent. The dance was created with the support of ASM Sports, Mrs Reece and Miss Bagguley; however, it incorporated many of the children’s own ideas and movements. The children performed with great skill and confidence. They were an absolute credit to our school.
Many thanks to Miss Georgina Clare from ASM Sports for her wonderful choreography and expertise. A huge thank you also to Mrs Brock, Mrs Reece and Miss Bagguley for their leadership and support with the organisation of the event, transport and costumes. Thank you also to Mrs Bustos, Mrs Parker and Mrs Sutton for joining us to add their support and encouragement.
Congratulations once again to all of our fabulous Year 6 dancers, you made us all burst with pride! And finally, many thanks to the families that supported this very special event, your support as always is greatly appreciated by the children and staff.
