An ENORMOUS well done to our super Year 3 class who visited Chester Zoo on Tuesday to enrich their learning about their topic Animal Kingdom. We had a fabulous day and very much enjoyed meeting the different animals that the children have been studying at school. The children showed great interest and excitement throughout the day. They were thrilled to meet the family of elephants and giraffes, the orang-utans, cheetahs, lions, the sloth, tapirs, pythons, the rhino, the Komodo dragon and many more. They also ventured into the darkness of the Fruit Bat Forest to get up close to the colony of bats.
The children approached the day with enthusiasm. They asked questions and discovered many astonishing facts to support their learning back at school.
Well done Year 3, we are very proud of you all! Thank you for being a credit to our school!
