Well done to our super Year 2 who visited Stanley Head Outdoor Education Centre to learn about nocturnal animals. Despite the unexpected snowfall, the children had a wonderful time exploring the great outdoors. They bravely tackled the nightline, an obstacle course that is completed whilst wearing a blindfold which helped them to experience how nocturnal animals use their senses to move around in the dark. They also ventured into the snow to explore the woods and looked for natural resources to make owl sculptures.
They showed excellent behaviour and impressed the Stanley Head staff with their knowledge, understanding and sense of adventure.
