Safer Internet Day took place on Tuesday 11th February and the whole school was involved in activities to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology.
This year’s theme – Together for a better internet – is a great opportunity to spark a conversation about the safe and responsible use of technology and to inspire young people to create a better internet for the future. From cyberbullying to social networking, each year Safer Internet Day aims to raise awareness of emerging online issues and chooses a topic reflecting current concerns.
Many thanks to the families who braved the cold weather to join us for our Safer Internet family
workshop. We hope that you enjoyed taking part in the activities alongside your children to promote how to stay safe when using digital technology.
Many thanks also to PCSO Lucy for supporting the school to offer advice for all the family.
Well done to everyone for getting involved to help promote online safety.
